The Riverside Academy Swim Team is a co-ed swim team in Division IV of the LHSAA.
The mission of the Riverside Academy Swim team is to develop student-athletes who are a credit to society. The Riverside Academy experience tends to shape and strengthen character throughout one’s lifetime. The Riverside Academy Swim team strives to provide a quality program based on character development, by teaching proper stroke technique, promoting self-esteem, self-discipline, and good sportsmanship. The team aims to provide opportunity for all participants to set and attain goals, both individual and team.
Coach Duhe has 20 years of dedicated coaching experience. She is currently a private swim instructor as well as a Stroke and Turn Official for LHSAA State Championships and Baton Rouge Capital City Qualifying and Championship meets. Coach Duhe is affiliated with USAA Swimming, LHSAA Officiating and Gramercy Swim Team.
The 2019 swim season was her first year at Riverside Academy where she had nearly 20 members join the Middle School and High School teams. The successful season ended with 10 of the Varsity members qualifying for the LHSAA State Swim Meet!
